**Audit Planning and Execution**: Participate in the planning phase of audit engagements, which involves understanding the client's business environment, assessing risk, and determining the audit approach. The Audit Assistant Manager is responsible for executing significant sections of the audit plan, directing audit staff, and ensuring the audit is conducted in a timely and efficient manner.- **Team Supervision and Development**: Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, including delegating tasks, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance with auditing standards, and providing constructive feedback. The Audit Assistant Manager plays a key role in the professional development of junior team members and helps in building a cohesive team environment.- **Compliance with Standards and Regulations**: Ensure that audit work complies with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and relevant local laws and regulations. This includes staying updated on changes in standards and regulations that impact audit methodologies and financial reporting.- **Client Communication and Management**: Maintain and build relationships with clients throughout the audit process. This involves communicating audit progress, discussing audit findings, and addressing any concerns or questions from the client in a professional and timely manner.- **Financial Reporting and Analysis**: Analyze financial statements and audit evidence to identify discrepancies, irregularities, or areas of risk. The Audit Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring that financial statements are fair and accurate and comply with relevant accounting standards.- **Quality Assurance and Control**: Contribute to the quality control of the audit process, ensuring that audit work is performed in accordance with the firm's methodologies and quality standards. This may involve participating in internal peer reviews and addressing any findings or recommendations.- **Report Writing**: Assist in preparing detailed audit reports that clearly communicate audit findings, implications, and recommendations for improving the client's financial reporting processes, internal controls, and compliance mechanisms.- **Professional Development**: Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to enhance auditing skills and knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and industry-specific issues. The Audit Assistant Manager may also contribute to the training and development of the audit staff.The role of an Audit Assistant Manager is integral to the success of audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services that meet both the firm's standards and the regulatory requirements, while also fostering strong client relationships and supporting the development of junior audit staff.Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Performance bonus**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Tax: 2 years (preferred)- Audit: 2 years (preferred)
