Lead and manage audit teamsto execute audit and assurance engagements efficiently and effectively.
Analyze financial statements and ensure their accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
Plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments, addressing higher-risk areas such asrevenue, financial instruments, and tax.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring their professional development.
Review and ensure audit working papers and financial statements comply with auditing and reporting standards.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to deliver excellent service.
Stay updated on industry trends, technical developments, and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Contribute to the firm's commitment to upholding high standards in audit quality and technical expertise.
Job Requirements
A degree in Accountancy and/or partial professional qualification in a related field.
Familiarity withMalaysian reporting standards, Companies Act 2016, and the Income Tax Act.
Proficiency in the full audit process, with experience leading teams and supervising junior staff.
Strong technical knowledge ofauditing standards (ISAs), risk-based auditing, risk and control strategies, ISQM,and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English;proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
A self-motivated individual with a commitment to continuous self-improvement and technical excellence.
Willingness to travel and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Familiarity withaudit softwareis an added advantage.
