What is the role
The Engineer Associate Digital and Drawing Management– ADT will be part of the VP TAO organization.
The VP TAO will be accountable for maximizing integrated business value across the organization.
Technical Asset Operations (TAO) is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell's Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Downstream Manufacturing, Integrated Gas and Upstream.
TAO provides high quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end AMS work processes.
What we need from you
Review red line markup (RLM) changes in technical drawings, collaborating with team members, incorporating revisions, and contributing to overall work quality.
Relevant experience in onshore/offshore Energy industries in engineering designing in FEED, Detail Engineering, and As-built process.
Monitors functional mailbox for Document Turnovers on daily basis and prioritizes the completion of these document turnovers based on agreed criteria and in line with asset standards.
Understands data related maintenance reports, equipment drawings, circuit diagrams, P&IDs, operation, and maintenance manuals of OEMs for Energy domain operations.
Proficient in interpreting and understanding corrections, redline markups, and updates across related engineering drawings.
Opens each drawing or document and performs quality check based on the Asset's Document Management standards.
Updates/Amends documents to SharePoint, adds metadata as per work instruction.
Key Experiences and Qualifications:
Strong aptitude for Learner Mindset.
Graduate or Master's Engineering degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or 4+ years relevant experience in Instrumentation / Mechanical.
Drafting skills in AutoCAD and are willing to learn & work in MicroStation.
Preferably with knowledge and hands-on experience on at least one of MicroStation applications familiarity with Markups, understanding of Schematics with 2D.
Knowledge in Design Engineering standards for PEFS.
Skilled in SharePoint, MS tools & Adobe.
Basic knowledge of Document work process and process flow.
Experience as AVEVA P&ID User will be an added advantage.
Experience in converting non-intelligent P&ID to intelligent AVEVA P&ID.
Strong understanding of fundamentals of mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil structural and process discipline required for intelligent P&ID creation.
Proficiency in AVEVA P&ID with sound drafting experience and quality check process.
Excellent communication skills and a quick learner.
Ability to prioritize and ensure delivery of priorities for the area of responsibility.
Flexible and adaptable to change, with a track record of demonstrating initiative, analytical capabilities and problem-solving.
Ability to apply engineering best practices, codes, and standards to identify issues, recommend improvements, and implement solutions.
Ability to engage and effectively communicate at all levels inside and outside Shell and within different cultural settings.
