Job Responsibilities:Design and implement automation solutions to optimize manufacturing and production processes.
Provide engineering and automation support for both existing and new equipment, test systems, and vision systems in production.
Lead upgrades to existing systems as needed, offering technical support and troubleshooting for production automation issues.
Apply statistical, engineering, and structured problem-solving tools to address complex challenges.
Manage automation projects from concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Create, review, and update relevant documentation, including equipment specifications and electrical/mechanical drawings, and ensure content accuracy.
Support prototype development for new automation equipment, test systems, and vision systems.
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Production, and Operations teams to drive continuous improvements on the production floor.
Identify and develop new process technologies, enhancing process capabilities to meet current and emerging automation requirements.
Participate in and drive initiatives focused on quality, cost, productivity, and other performance improvements.
Job Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
Senior-level experience in Engineering or a related role is preferred.
Hands-on experience with installation and validation of automated equipment and vision systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting for automated equipment.
Experience with PLC or PC coding for automation and vision systems is an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of robotics, sensors, actuators, and other automation components.
Strong analytical skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving, statistical knowledge, and a detail-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of software programming and experience in handling large datasets for engineering analysis is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
