SummaryPurpose:Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to plan, develop, implement, and improve automation solutions.
Goals:Enhance product quality, reduce costs, improve cycle times, and comply with specifications, regulatory, and customer requirements.
ResponsibilitiesStrategy Development:Collaborate with internal teams to develop automation strategy aligned with company objectives.
Solution Design and Development:Partner with internal team members and suppliers to design and develop automation solutions. Engage with suppliers on process study, design, development, and implementation of automation projects.
Process Improvement:Conduct studies to identify process improvement opportunities through automation. Drive automation projects to ensure system sustainability without affecting manufacturing output or quality.
Project Evaluation:Evaluate and monitor progress of automation projects based on ROI, quality, safety, and ergonomics.
Project Management:Plan and track automation projects within scope and timeline. Prepare and present project and budget proposals to management for approval.
Training:Train Operations and Engineering teams on new automation system implementation.
Supplier Coordination:Monitor supplier timelines and resources closely.
Milestone Tracking:Identify and track site project milestones, technical challenges, lead times, and risk mitigation plans.
Cross-Functional Coordination:Set up regular meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of automation solutions.
Other Duties:Perform additional duties as assigned by superior.
Education & ExperienceDegree:Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (preferably Industrial Automation or related discipline).
Experience:5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Automation or related field in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:Good technical knowledge of Automation concepts and solutions. Proficiency in English (oral and written). Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and project management skills.
