To study, review and implement relevant automation technology to speed up production or increase productivity/efficiency. Design layout, electrical and mechanical-moving parts which make up an efficient line. Review cost-benefit analysis and provide reports to Management before implementation. Thereafter, to plan, schedule and implement build or production improvements as well as preventive maintenance activities for factory with regards to the automated line/process. To help and support team-members to resolve sensors, parts or equipment issues. Fix, maintain and enhance equipment at the relevant plant/s with further automation and instrumentation systems to reduce unplanned downtime and minimize production interruption. To continuously improve and evaluate equipment performance in term of cost, energy efficiency and reliability. To help to maintain the servers for automation. Conducting analysis of performance information and report to Factory Manager. Ensure that workers follow standard operating parameters and carry out relevant work instructions during operations and maintenance, complying with company environmental, health & safety guidelines. Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Degree in Automation, E&E or Mechatronic At least 5 years of experience in related field. Required skill(s): Allen Bradley or related PLC programming Skills and knowledge to trouble-shoot equipment for production Design and build electrical, electronic and mechanical processes Knowledge in reading electrical wiring diagram HMI Interface Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office; MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook. Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Innovative and creative.
