JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:WHAT YOU WILL DOWork independently on complex system functions and offer guidance to business and IT teams.
Work on multiple requests simultaneously, for more than one user department, and at a high level of quality in a timely manner.
Plan project requirements and provide status reports on regular schedules.
Realize when a request is out of scope or poses unusual time or technical challenges and notify IT Management in a timely manner.
Demonstrate a high level of expertise in overall systems design, including work process flows, database structures, data integrity and consistency.
Knowledgeable about the media business in general and will become knowledgeable about the detail workings and requirements of assigned User Departments.
Analyze, identify & review system architecture & complex system functions and offer guidance to business and IT team when requested.
Analyze, review, and create detailed documentation of business systems and users needs, including workflow, integration & business process flows.
Evaluate business requirements and develop solution designs ensuring alignment to business requirements, business processes and best practices for effective software development.
Very good domain knowledge and functional understanding of OSS/BSS applications like CRM, Billing, Ordering, Collections/Dunning, Supply Chain, Inventory & Fulfillment applications.
Expertise in Product catalogue is required.
Very good product knowledge with (not limited to) Pay TV & Enterprise postpaid, prepaid, broadband, workforce management, inventory systems.
Coordinate with Solution Architects & Product Owners to ensure end-to-end design coverage across the Enterprise systems, owning the requirements to deployment life cycle.
Develop requirements traceability matrix based on the business requirements showing that all requirements are either supported or explicitly rejected.
In which case, such requirements will form part of the solution gap analysis.
Develop functional architecture and design specifications for proposed systems solutions.
Carry out Impacts Analysis of all designs affecting IT systems and interfaces.
Ensure that all designs developed and / or enhancements to existing IT system do not cause degradation to system SLA & OLA.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
Proactively leads, guides, influences for providing feedback and technical guidance to project teams on issues of critical importance for achieving the best solution(s) to meet the business objectives.
Assist senior business and IT management in determining the direction of current and future developments in areas of expertise.
May perform estimations for project solutions.
May assist Service Delivery professionals during ideation of business strategy solution discussions.
May assist team leadership as a team lead for the assignment of project work and review of design quality.
Experience and understanding of best practices for requirements management, high level application design, release management, testing, technical documentation and managing small development efforts.
Strong data modeling and data analysis and reporting experience is an advantage.
Full AGILE & software development life cycle (SDLC) experience.
REQUIREMENTS:WHO YOU ARE:Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 7 years of IT experience (recent hands-on) with BSS CRM and Billing systems or equivalent experience for mass media and broadcasting industry.
Strong expertise in OSS/BSS applications Amdocs CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle CRM, Salesforce or any other relevant skillsets.
Superior knowledge of CRM and Billing business processes and best practices.
Experience in and have strong understanding of omni-channel customer journeys, from lead to order fulfillment to services.
Experience of working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
Strong expertise in planning and prioritizing projects or improvement backlogs based on business focus area and priority.
Demonstrated ability to advice, inspire and motivate people to change their values and practices as evidenced by experience influencing key stakeholders to become servant leaders and to empower teams to adopt the Agile / Scrum framework.
Ability to follow departmental, management, and organizational procedures and/or processes.
Skilled in Jira Software, Quality Assurance (QA) best practices, Microsoft Office Software (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other related systems involved.
