Key Focus of the Role:
Strong background in programme management, a deep understanding of the impact investment landscape in Malaysia, and a passion for ecosystem building.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Management
Develop and implement strategic plans for each of the six key themes.
Oversee the execution of projects / programmes, ensuring alignment with Dana Impak's goals and objectives.
Monitor and evaluate programme performance, providing regular updates to senior management team.
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources of key programmes effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless programme execution.
Ecosystem Building
Foster collaboration among stakeholders, including government agencies, VCs, NPOs, SEs, MSMEs, SMEs and private sector partners.
Organize and participate in events, workshops, and forums to promote Dana Impak's initiatives and build a robust ecosystem.
Advocate for policies and practices that support impact investment and ESG initiatives in Malaysia.
Support relevant Dana Impak initiatives by identifying and nurturing local entrepreneurs and start-ups via capacity building or networking platforms.
Impact Investment
Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Conduct due diligence on potential investments, assessing their social and economic impact.
Develop and maintain relationships with impact investors, venture capitalists, and other key players in the impact investment ecosystem.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the impact and sustainability of investments.
Realise and align Dana Impak investments portfolio to Khazanah Nasional Berhad mandate.
Internal Relationship Management
Work closely with the Dana Impak investment team to ensure operational elements of the programmes are delivered to a high standard.
Collaborate with Khazanah Communications unit to ensure maximisation of Dana Impak success stories internally and externally are met.
Identify opportunities for deeper and longer-term engagement with potential and existing investee companies.
Maintain clear communication with senior management to update on programmes progress, reporting, and new business development as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant fields e.g., Social Science, Finance, Economics.
Minimum of 4 - 7 years of experience in programme management, impact investment, or other related fields.
Strong understanding of the impact investment landscape in Malaysia and globally.
Proven track record of managing complex programmes and delivering results.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for social impact and sustainable development.
