AVP, Risk, Governance and Conduct (RGC) -(240000QW)DescriptionThe role will be responsible to work with CFS R&P – Risk, Governance and Conduct (RGC) team to champion good conduct and culture for CFS division, and strengthen CFS governance framework to drive stronger culture of accountability and ethical conduct.
The role will also be required to take on compliance advisory for AML and general compliance.
You will be responsible for: Secretariat role for CFS Business Risk and Oversight Meeting (BROM)Prepare for various Risk dashboard including Operational Risk Dashboard Prepare monthly CFS Sentinel Risk NewsletterManage / support governance matters (ie: Conflict of Interest (COI), Sponsorship & Donations, Related Party Transactions (RPT), etc)Promote good conduct awareness and conduct training within division.Establish governance framework relevant to division.Conduct investigation / fact find for incidents relating to CFS sales process.
Support advisory on new / amendment regulatory guidelines, including perform independent assessment of regulatory guideline gap analysis.Support and engage business unit in order to develop action plan for control processes in addressing the regulatory requirements upon gap analysis conducted.
Support in disseminating regulatory updates and correspondences on a timely basis.Support and prepare for various Risk & Regulatory dashboardsAssess, report, and coordinate all regulatory breach incident, including follow up for action plan closure.Promote regulatory awareness and to identify training needs within CFS and to drive the risk and prevention culture towards CFS business unit.Involve in projects and adhoc assignment.Develop and maintain good relationship with all stakeholders.QualificationsWe are looking for candidates who are; Education level: At least degree level or equivalent education or experience.At least 7 years working experiences and knowledgeable in CFS products, services, process and its applicable regulations.
Knowledge in Governance, AML and/or Operational Risk Management will be an advantage.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships including demonstrated networking and negotiation skills and ability to manage working groups.
Pleasant personality with good working attitude, able to work independently and has sense of urgency and able to work within tight deadlines and able to multi-task independently with confidence.Good written English skill with ability to research and write accessible, clear procedure documents or case studies for a range of audiences.
Good communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of seniority, including ability to convey complex information in an accessible way.
Able to manage projects, weigh up conflicting demands with minimal supervision.
Able to work effectively as a member of team.
