Description and RequirementsKey Responsibilities
Web Application Development :
Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications for Lenovo's eService platforms using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement engaging and responsive interfaces.
Ensure websites meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
Project Delivery :
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate project deliveries aligned with business goals.
Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure smooth project execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT infrastructure, DevOps, and testing teams, to achieve project objectives.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Analyze existing systems and propose improvements to optimize performance and maintainability.
Stay updated on emerging web technologies and incorporate them into project designs as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Java development experience.
Technical Expertise :
Strong knowledge of Java, understanding IO, multithreading, reflection, memory management, and class loading mechanisms.
Java web development framework and toolsets (SpringMVC, Spring-Boot, Spring-Cloud, Mybatis, etc.)
Experience with middleware technologies and messaging queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.
Solid understanding of design patterns and their practical application in software development.
Database Skills : Experience with relational databases like MongoDB and PGSQL and other database experience like MySQL, SQL Server.
DevOps Knowledge : Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Nice to have : Experience on Large Language Model (LLM) and basic AI knowledge.
