Durioo+ operates on a subscription-based model. We produce, co-produce, and license entertaining, ethical, and meaningful content tailored for Muslim children. Launched in February 2022, we already boast more than 36,000 paid subscribers and host over 9,000 pieces of content on our platform and numbers are growing every month. All our content is meticulously curated to align with Islamic teachings and values. Our Mission Our goal is to build an ummah with Eeman, Akhlaq & Ilm by instilling good values, virtues, and Islamic teachings in children.
Our Future Plan Since launching the platform in February 2022, our focus has been on creating and licensing content while building a robust streaming platform. Durioo+ plans to expand with Durioo Games and Durioo Books by 2025.

Job Overview We are seeking a talented & passionate Backend Software Engineer to join our team, you will have opportunities to design and develop the backend, integrate streaming capabilities into the platform, database management, and test, debug the application to identify and resolve issues.
Familiar with Express JS. Experience in building API. Familiar with mongodb is preferable. Experience with Google Cloud Platform Experience in microservices.  Proficient in RESTful API. Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC.  Good knowledge of methodologies, design and architectural patterns, testing practices, and tooling.  Have experience with git or similar versioning systems.  Deep understanding of how the OTT platform works is essential but not mandatory.  Great troubleshooting and communication skills. Experience in deployment and maintaining applications in production  Experience with Linux terminal, setting up servers  High adaptability in a dynamic start-up environment. Collaborating with the development team to design the overall cloud infrastructure architecture.  Managing the cloud environment where the streaming platform is hosted. This includes provisioning and configuring cloud resources, such as virtual machines, storage, databases, and networking components. Monitoring the infrastructure for performance, availability, and security, and making necessary adjustments as needed.  Setting up the necessary infrastructure components to support streaming, such as media servers, content delivery networks (CDNs), and load balancers. Configuring the streaming protocols and optimizing the network for efficient content delivery.  Developing and implementing deployment pipelines and automation scripts for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).  Provide and implement API for Durioo's products.  Ensuring the security of the streaming platform.  Optimizing the performance and scalability of the streaming platform. Investigating and resolving any issues or incidents related to the streaming platform.  Coding and implementation using best practices to produce high-performing/scalable/secured modules for Durioo+ apps.
