Bahasa Melayu Teacher

-Support daily centre duties in relation to the overall operations of the centre.


-Conduct classroom session(s) for assigned level and language classes.


-Develop lesson plans for day-to-day teaching activities and establish learning objectives for the day based on curriculum plans and guidelines.


-Participate in curriculum development if required.


-Demonstrate and role model curriculum delivery and pedagogy techniques.


-Interact with children effectively and ensure physical safety and emotional well-being. Provide learning support, conduct and self-discipline for the children when required.


-Vet child's learning/activity sheets for review purposes.


-Monitor and record a child's learning growth progress through classroom assessment, evaluation.


-Working hand-in-hand with the teaching team in regards to the children's development and well-being.


-Establish and maintain good relationships with parents.


-Ongoing engagement and communication with parents/ guardians on child's progress, issues, etc. through periodical updates.


-Provide formal feedback of child's development.


-Update class records, child's portfolio and communication via Seesaw platform.

; Requirements:-


-Strong Bahasa Melayu language proficiency.


-Early Childhood Education certificate holders preferred, however, keen applicants with no prior industry experience but enjoy working with young children are also encouraged to apply.


-Good interpersonal and communication skills.


-Creative thinking, proactive, and have a positive learning attitude.


-Preferred skills: Classroom set-up, preparation and routine management skills, basic first aid knowledge.
