Bakers & Pastry Chefs (Trades & Services)
Ensure daily operation to deliver the products effectively.
Deliver and maintain good quality of products.
Manage and control the ingredients' supply and inventory stock levels.
Knowledge in operating all baking equipment including ovens, mixers, proofer, etc.
Supervise the junior bakers to ensure the products are up to standards.
Decorate baked products and other toppings for finished appearance.
Maintain kitchen safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the outlet.
Assist in lining up or displaying the products on the shelf racks.
Create new and exciting products for our menus and engage the interest of customers.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
Possess relevant qualifications: Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Bakery/Pastry/F&B Services Management or equivalent.
3 years of working experience preferably in Pastry/Bakery & similar roles in a hospitality property environment.
Excellent management, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Knowledge in controlling operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing (will be an added advantage).
Work responsibly and self-initiatively.
Willing to work during weekends and public holidays.
Well-versed in reading, writing, and speaking Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, and local dialects (would be an added advantage).
Pleasant personality, independent, hardworking, and energetic with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Confident, proactive, and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
