Job ResponsibilitiesThis role requires working closely with the Relationship Manager/ Team Head/ Regional Head as well as insurance providers to generate Bancassurance fee-based income for the division.
Responsible for achieving assigned bancassurance targets and maximizing cross-selling and upselling opportunities for the assigned SME & Business Banking portfolio.
Jointly develop with the Relationship Manager/ Team Head/ Regional Head to implement effective sales strategies and action plans to promote insurance solutions and achieve the targeted fee-based income set.
Onboard new business in collaboration with relevant internal sales teams and life insurance providers.
Monitor business performance and take proactive corrective actions where necessary to promote growth while maintaining profitability.
Customer Relationship Management
Joint sales with Relationship Manager/ Team Head/ Regional Head in recommending holistic and suitable business insurance solutions that meet client needs via thorough needs assessment and recommendations to borrowing & non-borrowing customers.
Work closely with internal teams & insurance providers to facilitate a seamless client experience from proposal to post-servicing for Life Insurance.
Training & Support
Serve as subject matter experts to coach, guide, and support the Relationship Manager/ Team Head/ Regional Head to grow the Bancassurance business.
Market Analysis & Reporting
Support & perform market intelligence on competitor analysis to provide insight and input to respective internal and/or insurance providers' teams to develop competitive enablers/products/process enhancements that suit SME & Business Banking channels.
Reporting Management
End-to-end sales tracking, submission, and follow-up on all sales-related activities/matters (i.e., sales performance report, customer inquiries, sales submission, pender listing, customer claims, etc.)
within stipulated timeframes.
Compliance & Risk Management
Maintain high compliance and sales discipline benchmarks in accordance with the Bank's and regulatory guidelines.
Willing to take on additional tasks and/or projects when assigned from time to time.
Job RequirementsCandidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies or equivalent.
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant financial sales experience, preferably in banking & insurance.
Possess relevant insurance licenses (i.e., PCEIA Life, Family Takaful & CEILLI & TBE).
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Willing to travel, result-oriented, dynamic, and self-driven.
Proficient in Bahasa & English; ability to converse in Chinese and/or dialects will be an added advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
