Job Summary
The Bancassurance Consultant will be responsible for promoting and selling insurance products through our banking partner network. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with bank staff and clients to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
Promote and sell insurance products to bank customers through referrals, direct sales, and cross-selling. Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue opportunities. Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with bank staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the insurance products. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for bank staff to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. Provide ongoing support and guidance to bank staff to help them achieve their sales goals. Customer Service:
Provide professional and efficient customer service to clients, addressing their insurance needs and queries. Assist clients in selecting appropriate insurance products and completing the necessary paperwork. Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the sales process. Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions. Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Bancassurance Manager. Requirements Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PCEIA) are a plus. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or banking industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of insurance products and the banking sector. Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
