Banquet Supervisor

Banquet supervisors are responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquets and other special events. They ensure that everything runs smoothly, from beginning to end, ensuring that guests are happy with their experience and that the event is profitable for the business hosting it.- Posses in depth Knowledge of Food and Beverage preparation and presentation- Verbally communicate, in a calm, positive demeanour, during the course of the function with the kitchen, service, beverage, convention services and engineering staffs, the guest host to ensure timely execution of events, quality service and adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations and Hilton standards- Oversee catered functions- Assist Manager with scheduling, training and performance management- Should have experience in operating POS (point of sales) Software's- Speak with others using clear and professional language using appropriate etiquette- Keep accurate records of which buildings require which supplies and when, updated locations of such supplies- Are able to setup functions according to work orders and BEO's (buffets, sitdowns, receptions)- Immediately reports any employee, guest, and/or vendor incidents and accidents to pertinent management and Loss Prevention at the time of the incident and/or accident in accordance with department and company standards- Leads by example in all areas including punctuality, appearance, work quality**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Flexible schedule- Maternity leave- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Rotational shiftAbility to commute/relocate:- Putrajaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
