Bartender

**Position**: BARTENDER (Full time #538291)**Property / Office**: Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur**Location**: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia**Summary**The Bartender will report to the Restaurant Manager and forms part of the F&B team who collectively deliver exceptional guest experiences.We are looking for individuals who have a good knowledge of food & beverage, a team player and enjoys to wow guests with outstanding service and hospitality.**The Role of the Bartender**- Prepare and serve drinks to guests.- He/she is able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance to guests' needs and expectations.- To interact with the hotel guests and ensure they have a great experience.- Give full and active support to the hotel's environmental management efforts.- Be familiar with the hotel facilities and any special events relating to the hotel or other departments.- Have full knowledge of all menus being offered in the restaurant.- Have full knowledge of restaurants seating/ table plan.- Ensure full co-operation with all other service colleagues and departments.- Be aware of performing salesmanship at all times to help increase revenues.**Preferred Qualifications And Skills**- Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management/ Catering- Minimum 2 years relevant job experience in similar capacity- Basic knowledge of wines and beverages- Conversant with the latest beverages trend- Knowledgeable about customer service and guest contact skills- Knowledgeable about handling guest/colleague complaints and dealing with guests- Good in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia- Ability to communicate in other languages would be an advantage- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Windows and InfoGenesis System- Able to work independently and with minimum supervision- Pleasant with positive attitude- Good communication and administrative skills- Willing to work shift dutiesLearn more about what it is like to work at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, visit us:**_Malaysia work authorization is required for this position._****Advertised**: 13 Feb 2024 Singapore Standard Time**Applications close**: 30 Aug 2024 Singapore Standard Time
