Job ResponsibilitiesProvides personalized customer service to each and every guest of the hotel.
Maintains a high standard of assistance at the Main Lobby to ensure guest satisfaction is achieved.
Provides courteous and efficient service; works to comply with every guest and patron's request unless illegal.
Coordinates, cooperates, and communicates with other departments as required.
Conducts Bell service activities such as luggage service upon guest's arrival and departure, luggage storage, message service, fax delivery, parcel and mail hand-over, information service, and other related tasks.
Opens the door of the car for the guest in a professional manner at the main entrance of the hotel and assists in unloading the luggage if any.
Extends a warm welcome and appreciation to every guest/patron by greeting them with "Welcome to TROVe Johor Bahru" or "Welcome back, Mr. / Mrs. / Miss So & So".
Rooms the guest in a professional way, which includes addressing the guest by name, holding the lift for the guest, and extending hotel introductions to guests.
Possesses a wealth of knowledge related to hotel products, events, and promotions, playing a role in salesmanship by making efforts to sell the hotel at each customer contact, to maximize hotel revenue.
Knowledgeable of general tourist information and places of interest.
Must have the ability to provide travel and tour information and reservations.
Assists in arranging transportation for guests as well as paging for guests.
Responsible for the cleanliness of the counter, lobby, and the surrounding environment.
In charge of the lobby lighting, turning it on and off periodically.
Distributes newspapers to long-staying guests and concerned departments.
Reports any suspicious person or unattended luggage to the Duty Manager.
Maintains a professional image while on duty with well-groomed hygiene and prescribed uniform.
Performs other duties assigned by the Bell Captain, Duty Manager, Front Office Manager, or other concerned hotel officers.
Always concerned with energy and environmental conservation issues in daily work.
Performs all other duties as requested by hotel policies and/or his/her direct supervisor.#J-18808-Ljbffr
