JOB DESCRIPTION Job TitleBid & Tender ManagerJob DescriptionYour role:As a Bid & Tender Manager you are responsible to develop, maintain and manage the opportunity development and proposal strategy to ensure the commercial offer is developed and released in time, on budget and with all necessary deal board & price approval in place.You will act at the core of growing our strategic business and drive creation of the customer proposals for configured, customized solutions and LSPs for the government and private customers.
Bid and Proposal Writing: Lead the preparation of bid documents & detailed proposal writing including technical specifications, project plans, pricing, and compliance documents.
Tender Management: Manage the end-to-end process of tender submission, ensuring all documentation meets the tender requirements and is submitted within deadlines.Prepare clarification questions and send to the customer based on feedback gathered from technical, sales & commercial team on tender requirement to highlight any lock out specs or deviation and providing recommendation in line with industry standards that increases the chance of winning bids.Risk Assessment: Assess potential risks in tender opportunities, such as compliance risks, financial risks, and technical challenges, and work with internal teams to mitigate them.Work proactively with Sales to develop strategy and facilitate win themes and key messaging.
Managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including account management, contracts, business leader, sales operation, legal, finance modality sales specialist, and technical subject matter experts (SMEs).
Develop and coordinate content that adheres to client instructions and complies with internal and external regulations.
Maintaining all related documents, schedules, project calls and meetings, and recognizing signs of project/proposal risk and proactively addressing them.Coordinating with sales operation team to have the final documents assembled, signed, and delivered.You're the right fit if:You've a bachelor's degree in healthcare, Business, Marketing, or related fields.Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or business development.
Your skills include exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as demonstrated by proposals and presentations of uncommon quality and persuasiveness.Strong influencing skills to diplomatically manage the response team through the sales strategy, document quality, and regulatory compliance of each proposal.Fluent in English and on the local languages you are currently based.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze tender documents, understand tender requirements, and prepare quality responses.Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in proposal documentation, financial figures, and compliance statements.Project Management: Strong project management skills to manage multiple bids at various stages, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.About PhilipsWe are a health technology company.
