About the roleWe are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our growing team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and data within our architectural design projects.
What you'll be doing
Develop and maintain BIM models, ensuring compliance with project standards and requirements
Coordinate with design teams to integrate BIM data and resolve any clashes or conflicts
Manage the BIM workflow, including data exchange, version control, and information sharing
Provide training and support to team members on the use of BIM software and tools
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure BIM deliverables meet their needs
Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies, standards, and best practices
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our BIM processes and methodologies
What we're looking for
Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role
Proficient in using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or Bentley
Excellent understanding of BIM workflows, data management, and coordination processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve BIM-related issues
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
Adaptability to new technologies and a willingness to learn and grow
Experience in 3D and 4D modeling will be an added advantage.
