Job Requirement Ensure all electrical installations and systems within the hospital comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations and standards.Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, including switchgear, power distribution, and emergency generators.Oversee and manage high and low voltage systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical areas (e.g., operating theatres, ICUs).Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, distribution boards, and hospital equipment to identify and resolve faults promptly.Planning all M&E equipment and system schedule maintenance.Ensuring M&E equipment that required calibration are calibrated on schedule .Lead and supervise maintenance staff to ensure effective teamwork in carrying out tasks.Prepare technical reports and maintain detailed records of maintenance work and equipment performance.Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for scheduled maintenance or repairs.Monitor and maintain emergency power systems to ensure readiness during outages.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies within the hospital setting.Support audits and ensure adherence to the hospital's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Job QualificationCertificate of Competency as BO Chargeman (11kV/33kV) from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).At least 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of electrical safety protocols, switchgear, and power distribution systems.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and under pressure.Leadership skills to manage and guide a team of technicians.Proficiency in technical reporting and documentation.Willingness to be on standby for emergencies and work in shifts, including weekends or public holidays if required.
