Established in 1960, Tenby Schools Ipoh was the pioneer of the 6 Tenby Schools which are now part of the International Schools Partnership. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care and first aid services to boarding studentsEnsure implementation of necessary safety measures and actions in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations to maintain optimal safety and health standards.Administer necessary wound care and other treatment options as required.Respond promptly to emergency calls, swiftly assessing student/patient conditions and making crucial care decisions.Provide emergency care for injured students at the scene while awaiting ambulance arrival.Exhibit exceptional patient service skills, with a focus on prioritizing student well-being.Attend to students requiring medical attentionMaintain accurate medical histories for all students in their personal files, as needed.Accompanying boarders to the clinic when necessary.Required to live in the boarding house (accommodation provided).Required to work three weekends in four during term times (39 weeks per year)Time off during the day during the week after 7.00am and back on duty at 3.30pm. Skills, Qualifications and Experience Possess at least a relevant Diploma or Degree in Nursing. A minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably with experience in an international school or hostel.Registered with Malaysian Nursing BoardPossess valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)Computer literate with good interpersonal communication skills.Fluency in written and spoken English.Proficiency in Mandarin language is an added advantage ISP Leadership Competencies  You consistently demonstrate and role-model the ISP Leadership Competencies in all that you do.
