Job Responsibilities:Maintain and operate the boilers, ensuring good functioning of the fire systems and water supply for the boiler.
Execute the high pressure (65barg) steam boiler.
Follow daily routines to ensure the boiler(s) run in good conditions and without interruption.
Know the health, safety, environment & housekeeping procedures and rules, operate in accordance with them, alert risks, and participate in risk analyses.
Operate the boiler, the waste water treatment plant, and other utilities in an efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly manner.
Prepare chemicals for the boiler and other utilities and monitor the respective chemical inventory.
Constantly monitor utilities (boiler, fire hydrant, water supply, nitrogen consumption, air compressors, etc.)
and components (filter press) related to the boiler.
Perform cleaning work for all kinds of tanks during shutdown and clean filter press cloth.
Perform loading activity of pitch oil to pitch tanker.
Perform housekeeping in the boiler house and waste water treatment plant.
Job Requirements:Possess at least SPM equivalent or higher.
MUST possess aCertificate of Boilerman Grade 2 issued by DOSH (JKKP) .
Have at least a minimum of 3-4 years of related working experience.
Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel will be an added value.
Experience in using a forklift is an asset.
Willing to work during festivals and/or call-in to back-up colleagues.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
Responsible and able to work independently.
Able towork shift .
