Job Responsibility:
Operating and maintaining boilers, air compressors, bag filters, and gas-related equipment used in the manufacturing process to ensure continuous operation.
Monitoring boilers, air compressors, bag filters, chimneys, clean rooms, and gas-related equipment performance and parameters, conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent downtime and equipment failures.
Troubleshooting boiler, air compressor, bag filter, and gas-related equipment malfunctions and performing necessary repairs promptly while adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Managing boiler water treatment to prevent scale buildup, corrosion, and contamination.
Recording and maintaining accurate logs of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents for regulatory compliance.
Collaborating with other team members and departments to coordinate boiler, air compressor, bag filter, and gas-related equipment maintenance.
Responding quickly to emergency situations such as leaks or pressure issues to mitigate potential hazards and prevent accidents.
Proactively seeking opportunities to improve boiler, air compressor, bag filter, and gas-related equipment operations and reduce energy consumption.
Any other tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.
Qualification:
Education level: At least a technical certificate or diploma in Engineering discipline or relevant field.
Certificate: Possess Grade 2 Certificate of Competency as a Boilerman issued by DOSH.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in boiler operations and maintenance.
Capability: Strong technical knowledge of boiler operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety consciousness.
Skills: Effective problem-solving, analytical abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
