As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be the primary manufacturing interface for new and existing hardware products. You will work with AFM Manufacturing Engineering to support new product development builds and support ongoing improvements to existing products. You will ensure that products are designed and built to Bruker's high standards of quality and performance. You will evaluate the product designs and create the processes, tools, and procedures. You will collaborate with Design Engineers to determine Bruker's manufacturing and product specifications.
You will be in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary group, responsible for using your creativity and wide range of engineering experience to develop and evaluate solutions to challenging engineering problems. You will design, develop, test, and qualify solutions in a manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesCreate CAD models and drawings in Solidworks and SolidEdge per requirements
Revise CAD models and drawings in Solidworks and SolidEdge per requirements
Prepare ECOs for parts, BOMs, routings, and product documentation
Prepare, release, and revise company procedures per process requirements
Prepare, release, and revise off the shelf parts data sheets via ECO process
Prepare, release, and revise assembly work instructions for production
Develop Manufacturing Processes, Documentation, Tooling, and Test Fixtures

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Advanced skills and experience with creating and editing part, assembly, and drawing files in Solidworks and/or SolidEdge
Experience in creation and interpretation of GD&T
Extensive knowledge of product BOM structures, their creation, and management
Track record of writing ECOs (Engineering Change Orders)
SAP experience with material masters, BOMs, Routings
Strong understanding of complex electromechanical assemblies
Experience explaining technical issues and influencing product and process design change with results/data, working with other engineering teams to arrive at solutions
Experience in process and requirements-oriented business environment
Works independently, strong team player, detail oriented, organized, requirements oriented, and hands-on
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
Above average experience and fluency with Microsoft Office products
Advanced level reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of technical English language with fluent communication and presentation skills
International travel required. Actual travel duration and frequency will depend on project requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in continuous improvement, safety improvements
Familiar with ISO9001 requirements and Six Sigma concepts
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
