Job Requirements:
PREFERABLY CANDIDATE WITH SUPERMARKET WORKING EXPERIENCECandidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree or equivalent.Strong verbal and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.Minimum 5 years of working experience as Branch Manager for high turnover cash and carry / hypermarket / supermarket with more than 70 staff under your supervision.Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and long hours.Strong inter-personal skills and ability to solve practical problems.Good human management skills.Willing to be based in any branch as directed by Management.Job Responsibilities:
Manage the overall branch daily operation, including floor display, stock management, manpower deployment and allocation, equipment maintenance, permits, and licenses.Accountable for the performance and profitability of the branch.Responsible for the management of all staff and workers for the branch, including training, coaching, and supervising staff according to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Monitor and analyze sales turnover for efficient stock ordering to achieve maximum profitability.Consistently review floor display to ensure efficient space usage and shelf display.Review and maximize sales of Gondola and block display.Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all areas of the branch including selling floor, warehouse, and cool room.In charge of the proper maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and fixtures of the branch.Ensure efficient ordering of goods and sufficient stock supply at all times, avoiding out-of-stock and over-order situations.Prevent obsolete stock at display shelves and warehouse through proper stock planning and regular stock checking.Ensure proper handling of perishable items to minimize wastage.Responsible for verifying Purchase Order quantity, profit margin, and stock balance.Responsible for the recording, checking, and daily updating of stock balance for control items.Knowledge and awareness of market trends in the retail industry to increase sales of the company.Job Types:Full-time, Permanent
