Strategic & Planning Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the bank's objectives, focusing on business growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Implement innovative strategies to remain competitive in the market and adapt to changing industry trends. Identify growth opportunities and market trends to stay competitive in the banking industry. To manage profitability through relationship building via cross selling, to create stickiness, prudent and efficient spending as well as to generate sufficient returns to meet shareholders' expectations. Conduct a Financing Review Committee meeting (FRC) and sales meeting based on the terms of reference set. Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales. Asset Quality Improvement To bring in the highest quality assets that consume capital and generate sustainable earnings that commensurate with the risk that the bank is willing to take. To do evaluation of firm assets in order to facilitate the measurement of the level and size of credit risk associated with its operation. Supervise activities of financing account under Branch portfolio (Credit review, collection visit and credit recovery advisory services) to ensure Branch Asset Quality at specified level. Have a sense of bank Asset Quality by examining its risk culture, NPL ratio, Loan Growth, Collateral and Reserves, Write off rates and loan book diversity by Customer, Industry and geography. Operation and Internal Control To comply with all policy, procedures and guidelines by regulatory Authorities (BNM, Ministry and others relevant authorities). Understand all requirements in the MO138 (Management and Control Branch Operations). MO01 (Credit Operating Manual). MO134 (Documentation and Funding withdrawal in CAD/CAC) and all relevant Manual. Well equipped with AMLATFA and others instruction issue by Bank Negara Malaysia. To perform regular checking to ensure strict compliance with the requirement. To take immediate action if any issue report/highlight by Audit, Compliance & BSU. Fully understanding on Organization Chart, Risk Management, Risk type and each staff responsibility including understanding 3 layer of risk defense in bank risk management (Credit Risk, Market & Liquidity Risk and Operational Risk). To manage planning on BCM (Business Continuity Management) at branch level including staff awareness and coordination. Understanding on OSHA (MO-100). Management of Budget & KPI Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. To set/prepare KPI annually for each staff and to ensure each staff mange and achieve their respective KPI. To prepare/check staff Job Description for better operational and workflow at branch. Others Carry out the duties and responsibilities of the work provided by the Management from time to time. Responsible reporting to Regional Director on Sales activity, Compliance, Branch situation and others issue, or instruction given by Regional Director. Consistently to Lead, Motivate and Staff Coaching to achieve positive impact on Branch performance and situation. Identify training requirements for each staff. Proactively rewards positive behavior and deters questionable or borderline ethical behavior that is not in the company's long-term interest.
