The Role:
This role requires an effective understanding and demonstration of commitment to upholding regional ambulance service within the regional and rural community.

Ability to represent Ambulance Tasmania positively
The Team:
Ambulance Tasmania works closely with partner emergency services and other Department of Health (DoH) health care providers to focus on delivering excellence in prehospital healthcare for improved outcomes for our patients, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
Details of appointment:
Multiple permanent, full-time and part-time, shift worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Branch Station Officer - $124,336 to $130,744 per annum + 11.5% Superannuation
Branch Station Officer - Intensive Care Paramedic (ICP) - $140,735 to $145,234 per annum + 11.5% Superannuation
Salary range is in accordance with Ambulance Tasmania Agreement 2022
Please note that access to the Branch Station Officer ICP salary is only available to suitable applicants who can provide evidence of an Intensive Care Paramedic qualification prior to appointment.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
Benefits available to eligible candidates:
Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees.

Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata).
Fitness Passport – You, and your family can access 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family.
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Paramedicine Board of Australia
Holds a Bachelor of Paramedic Science and relevant work experience or other qualification approved by the Service.
Current Driver Licence
Desirable:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
Position features:
Ambulance Tasmania is committed to promoting a positive workplace culture.
Paramedics may be required to undertake periods of relief at outer urban or rural branch stations, and intrastate travel may be required for training and other specified purposes.
The occupant is required to undertake on-call duties when working from a single branch station.
