Position Purpose: The role is responsible for the strategic management and day-to-day operations in Malaysia.
Reporting into the Senior General Manager of Fragrance, you will provide strong leadership, clear direction, and guidance to the team, while driving a strategic plan to promote revenue, profitability, and growth for the escentials business in Malaysia.  The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial & independent, possesses the ability to think strategically and analytically, and is personable.
Key Responsibilities: Business Targets, Forecasting and Results Achieve business results by focusing on gross sales and P&L contributions.
Oversee the marketing function, including client support, sales strategy implementation, and promotional activities to meet business goals.
Maintain effective budget control for sales and expenses.
Meet sell-in and sell-through sales targets and ensure business planning accuracy.
Manage and track the flow of product registrations in Malaysia to ensure timely completion.
Channel & Retail Marketing Play a key role in new POS openings, including boutiques and SIS, by analyzing potential partner relationships regarding product range, positioning strategy, pricing, and promotions.
Collaborate with the marketing team to propose and implement marketing and CRM plans, including animations, while ensuring proper execution of merchandising guidelines and suggesting improvements where necessary.
Monitor shelf space and brand visibility.
Coordinate with suppliers, retailers, landlords, brand partners, and local distributors to execute specific animations and promotions.
Report ROI for all programs, providing management with feedback.
Plan and budget A&P expenses effectively.
Conduct regular monthly and quarterly performance reviews Business Development   Utilize all available tools to seek, expand, and enhance business and product penetration.
Ensuring the successful launch of new brands/ lines.
Market Analysis   Provide consumption-based data analysis and insights to support the enterprise in understanding market trends and dynamics.
Conduct monthly retail audits and report on brand launches, animations and promotions.
Analyze competitor activities.
Relationships   Maintain a productive, business-friendly relationship with internal and external stakeholders Fostering a professional and respectful attitude and communication at all levels within and outside the company.
Requirements At least 6 years of experience in luxury beauty marketing (perfumes and cosmetics), including new product briefs, POS, promotional plans (conception and implementation), advertising development, media plans, and brand presentations.
Strong market awareness, business insights, and business acumen.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with skills in market segmentation, marketing research, project management, reporting research results, customer understanding, process improvement, and financial planning.
Demonstrated passion, achievements, and leadership with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Dynamic, motivated and able to work independently with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Strong understanding of P&L, with significant people management experience and the ability to motivate, inspire, coach, and develop teams.
