Job DescriptionHandle all aspects of marketing management of the assigned brands portfolio.
Strategize, plan and execute brand initiatives/activities to enhance brand positioning and ensure the company objectives are met.
Work closely with the sales team and other stakeholders to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts.
Research into industry trends & public perception and aid in the creation of marketing and advertising campaigns to strengthen the brands' identities.
Keep abreast of consumer behavior, marketplace trends, market research, trade dynamics, business drivers, and competitors' strategies.
Contribute to product innovation by delivering product development programs to further margin growth.
Identify market opportunities for new brands and categories.
Manage the brand A&P budget and profitability effectively.
Liaise with principal, prepare monthly reports and forecasts as necessary.
Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers to design & successfully execute marketing campaigns.
Provide monthly marketing reports/analysis to the Management.
Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job RequirementsMinimum Degree holder in Business Administration / Marketing / Food Science or related fields.
At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the FMCG industry.
Traveling is required (for both local and overseas).
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage executed projects.
Creative to identify alternative approaches and solutions.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Digital savvy and proficient in MS Office applications.
Dynamic team player with initiatives, mature, able to work independently with a positive attitude.

Company ProfileKMM -established in 1999 in Malaysia, is a fast-growing company dealing in FMCG products and acts as a local representative of experts in the manufacturing of coconut-related products. These products are available in food and confectionery manufacturers or in smaller packs in the retail markets.
We started distributing our Kara coconut cream in our first year. We began exporting Kara coconut milk powder to China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in the following year. In 2003, we exported desiccated coconut (commodity) to the Middle East, China, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
After operating for 6 years, we moved to a half-acre office/logistics warehouse which is also KMM headquarters in Taman Perindustrian Puchong until today.
In 2008, we diversified our coconut-related business by taking up our first food agency brand. We set up a laboratory and R&D kitchen while our business diversified into the Personal Care business after 4 years. We took up our first non-food agency brand.
In 2013, we obtained ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certification.
We became a member of SEDEX while we launched Karta coconut water in 2014.
We crafted a successful business entity in Malaysia when we received the Malaysia Top Business Excellence Award and Prima Duta Award for the first year in 2016. We continued receiving the Prima Duta Award for the second year and obtained ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification in 2017. We further took up skincare and beauty cosmetic agency brands in the same year.
In 2018, we launched KARTA FIZZ – a sparkling fruit juice drink. We took up San Macro Pasta from Dubai, diversified into dry foods business, and took up Safe Care (Roll-on refreshing oil) in the same year.
We launched Karta Supermall E-mail in 2020.
We relocated our warehouse to U10 Shah Alam, the Distribution Centre with bigger space (121,925 sqft and 12,102 pallet positions) in 2021.
We took up FreshCare (Roll-on medicated oil) in 2022.
