Building Site Works Coordinator

Orchid Development is a division of the Flowers Group of companies.
Orchid Development manages the Cricket Square properties, Flowers Apartments, Middle Ground Apartments, Eucalyptus Building and Orchid Village rental properties.
The Building Site Works Coordinator will primarily be responsible for the oversight and coordination of various activities on construction sites to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Project Planning and CoordinationCollaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
Coordinate and schedule activities, including deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce allocation.
CommunicationServe as a liaison between project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
Facilitate regular meetings to update team members on project progress, changes, and upcoming activities.
Communicate and enforce safety protocols and quality standards.
Resource ManagementCoordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of construction materials.
Work closely with procurement to source and acquire necessary materials and equipment.
Quality AssuranceImplement and enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets specified standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any quality or safety issues.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions as needed.
Safety ComplianceEnsure all work activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for on-site personnel.
Investigate and report incidents, implementing preventive measures to mitigate risks.
Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, permits, and approvals.
Generate regular status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
Document and address any deviations from the project plan.
Qualifications and SkillsMinimum of 5 years' experience in construction project coordination.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
