Account & Relationship Management (Sales)
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and highly motivated Business Account Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is focused on selling our suite of software solutions and offerings to corporate organizations and SMEs in Malaysia and other targeted regions outside of Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of key account management, solution selling, and strategic selling in corporate and SME.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients and expand business with existing clients. This includes identifying key decision-makers, understanding their needs, and aligning our solution to their business objectives.
Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand clients' challenges and goals, and to position our solution and offering as a strategic component that adds value to clients' business and operations.
Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure issues or challenges clients encounter are effectively addressed.
Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services, leveraging insights gained from ongoing client interactions and project engagements.
Collaborate with internal teams including project management, product development, and the technical support customer experience team to provide comprehensive solutions that meet clients' evolving needs and exceed their expectations.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats in the market landscape.
Manage sales cycles effectively, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a seamless and efficient sales process. This includes ensuring that billing and receivables are well managed post-sales.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in strategic software sales or solution selling.
Understanding of HR solutions or operation needs is an added advantage.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at various levels.
Adaptability and willingness to learn about new technologies and industry trends.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overseas travel, to open up and expand markets outside the country.
