Business Analyst - Financial AnalystAbout the Role
Swift is seeking a candidate to join as a Business Analyst working on reporting and analysis to deliver insights for management's/business decision-making and support strategy formation.
This role will be ideal for individuals who are interested and passionate about data and business decision analytics.
Being part of the Internal Business Intelligence team within FP&A, your key responsibilities would be delivering analysis complemented with valuable insights to the FP&A department and cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment.
You will contribute to a variety of activities e.g.
report business performance, monitor performance against target, forecast business for short/long-term planning, simulate product usage, identify key drivers and their impacts, etc.
You will get to use several enterprise applications and business intelligence tools to perform day-to-day analytical tasks.
You will engage internal stakeholders via presentations to FP&A management and other departments across the company, establishing dialogue to link the outcome of analysis with business stakeholders to drive actions.

What to Expect
Prepare business performance reports on actuals and monitor against targets/forecast/budget.
Develop interactive and intuitive reports/dashboard to transform data into valuable insights subsequently actionable information for management and internal stakeholders.
Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify key drivers and their potential impacts on the business.
Perform scenario-based simulations of business performance or product usage to support pricing assessment and company strategy.
Communicate insights effectively to management and internal stakeholders through identification of opportunities, risks, and actions towards them.
Establish good relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and cross regions via regular, engaging, and two-way conversation and collaboration.
Lead end-to-end projects that require coordination across different functions, good time management, and effective communication.
Deliver with ease using several enterprise applications or office tools, e.g.
SAP, Salesforce, MicroStrategy, MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI, etc.
Implement continuous improvements to current processes for increased productivity and effectiveness of day-to-day deliveries.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all business processes within the team.
Acquire a good business understanding of Swift products and services to deliver intuitive analysis.
What will make you successful
Minimum university Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Information System, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years working experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
Candidate who possesses the following technical skills is preferred:
-> Minimal Requirement: Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
-> Added advantage: MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, MS Access, KNIME
Fluent English speaking and writing.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and work with large-scale and complex datasets, business logic, and processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from data, research, and design practical and scalable solutions.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and a customer-centric attitude, as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
Team player with a strong collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally and in a multi-national/cultural environment.
