We are looking for a Business Development and Account Manager who can build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Our product caters to a niche market, so we focus less on advertising through major platforms. Instead, this role will be responsible for acquiring new clients and fostering trust through consistent communication, personalized marketing efforts, and online sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Understand Client Needs: Actively engage with clients to fully understand their requirements and communicate these to the technical team.Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and maintain positive, ongoing relationships with clients to ensure continued usage of our product or service.Client Retention: Focus on customer retention by delivering excellent service and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.Feedback Management: Act as a liaison between clients and technical teams, ensuring client feedback is properly conveyed to improve product offerings.Client Acquisition: Drive client acquisition by implementing effective marketing strategies and leveraging existing client relationships to expand the customer base.Online Sales Management: Utilize online sales channels to boost product visibility and convert leads, including implementing marketing campaigns and promotions for online platforms.Requirements: Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role, such as account management or sales. Experience in online sales or e-commerce platforms is a strong plus.Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.Problem-Solving Ability: Strong ability to handle client issues or concerns effectively and proactively.Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of the product and the ability to convey technical details to non-technical clients. Experience with software or technology products is advantageous.Customer-Focused Mindset: A client-first attitude, with the ability to understand client needs and deliver outstanding service to ensure retention.Team Collaboration: Capability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and provide clear, actionable client feedback.Tech-Savvy and Adaptive: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software products, technologies, and changes in the digital landscape, especially in managing online sales and integrating with customer systems.E-Commerce Familiarity: Familiarity with online sales and digital marketing strategies to enhance sales performance and client engagement.Language Skills: Fluent in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese stakeholders.
