Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the remittance industry.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international money transfer processes and a proven track record of driving growth through strategic partnerships and client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities: Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential growth areas within the remittance industry.
Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to inform strategic decisions.
Strategy Development:
Develop and execute business development strategies focused on expanding our client base and enhancing our market presence.
Identify and target new business opportunities in key regions.
Client Acquisition and Management: Identify, pursue, and secure new clients, including financial institutions, retail partners, and corporate clients.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Partnership Development:
Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with banks, payment providers, and financial technology companies to expand our network and service offerings.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all business activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
Performance Measurement: Set, track, and report on business development KPIs.
Analyze performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product development teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
Provide input on product enhancements and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development within the remittance or financial services industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Skills: In-depth knowledge of the remittance industry, including market trends, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
