As a Business Development Executive with a strong background in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, you will lead the promotion and successful launch of our commercial household products to retail accounts.
Leveraging your past experience and industry knowledge, you will identify market opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and execute targeted initiatives to drive sales growth and market penetration.
The ideal candidate will possess strong sales expertise, relationship-building skills, and a passion for launching innovative household products within the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Launch Strategy : Develop and execute strategic plans for the successful launch of our commercial household products, including product positioning, pricing strategies, distribution channels, and promotional campaigns.
Retail Account Management : Identify, prioritize, and establish relationships with key retail accounts, including retailers, distributors, and wholesalers, to secure distribution partnerships and drive product visibility and availability in the market.
Promotional Activities : Plan and execute targeted promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and product demonstrations to generate interest, increase brand awareness, and stimulate demand for our commercial household products among key accounts and consumers.
Sales Generation : Drive sales growth by proactively identifying opportunities, presenting product offerings, negotiating terms, and closing deals with retail accounts to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive insights, and leverage findings to refine sales strategies and positioning of commercial products.
Customer Engagement : Engage with key accounts through regular communication, product demonstrations, presentations, and sales meetings to educate them on the features, benefits, and applications of our commercial products.
Sales Forecasting : Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop accurate sales forecasts, inventory plans, and pricing strategies based on market demand and customer feedback.
Performance Tracking : Monitor and analyze sales performance, market share, and profitability of commercial products across key accounts, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets and optimize sales performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies, prioritize initiatives, and leverage resources effectively to support the promotion and sales of commercial products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or minimum Diploma in any field.
Proven experience in retail account management or sales roles within the FMCG industry, with a focus on promoting and launching retail household products will be added advantage.
Deep understanding of FMCG market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape, with the ability to leverage insights to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Exceptional sales acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to influence key stakeholders to drive sales opportunities and close deals successfully.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Results-oriented mindset, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and maximizing profitability for the organization.
Analytical mindset, with proficiency in market analysis, sales forecasting, and performance tracking to inform strategic decision-making and optimize sales performance.
Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity.
