Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager at Gussmann Marine Tech, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet our clients' needs. You will work closely with our technical and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Identify and hunt new potential clients through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods including pursuing tender opportunities.
* Present and demonstrate our range of products and services to prospective clients.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors to provide feedback to management team in shaping the future development of our products and services.
* Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track sales progress.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the technology or maritme logistics industry, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Familiarity with maritime logistics industry, GPS tracking, fuel management system or related technologies is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
