A Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth of a company by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and developing strategies to increase revenue. This role involves researching markets, planning marketing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and improving customer value. Additionally, the Business Development Manager collaborates with internal teams to set business goals, oversees the development of sales proposals, and provides training to team members to enhance their skills. Job Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives to drive business growth.Conduct research on organizations and individuals to identify new business opportunities.Increase the value of current customers while attracting new prospects.Identify and develop new markets to enhance sales and profitability.Prepare and present quotes and proposals to clients.Set and monitor goals for the business development team to ensure growth targets are met.Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or legal with keen interest to pursue a business development role.Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.Strong communication skills with IT proficiency, including knowledge of mind mapping tools.Ability to understand contracts and identify potential risks.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Strong attention to detail.
