Company Background
We are representing our client, a logistics solutions company that covers air, sea, and land transportation based in Shah Alam, to look for a potential candidate to fill a role as Business Development Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of sales personnel to explore new markets and implement total logistics sales strategies.
Organize sales activities and work closely with internal stakeholders to develop new initiatives to drive sales growth and support business expansion.
Establish a sales business plan to promote and sell services to existing or potential clients, targeting an expanded customer database.
Organize customer visits to promote service packages and propose quotations to customers in a timely manner.
Conduct and propose an annual business revenue budget plan to regional and country management.
Update and record all business development/sales activities using CRM in a timely manner.
Hold monthly business development meetings and generate sales reports for analysis to identify business strengths and opportunities.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or degree in any field with a minimum of 4-6 years of working experience in the logistics industry.
Hands-on experience in total logistics sales, including sea/air freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, container haulage, customs clearance, and international shipping solutions.
Good understanding of logistics solution concepts and the ability to demonstrate solutions with value-added propositions.
Strong leadership capabilities with effective interpersonal skills.
Proficient in English; Malay and Mandarin are advantages.

Working days/hours: Mon - Fri: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
