Business Development Representative Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

We're seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Representative to grow our presence in the oil and gas industry. You'll identify new opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and drive sales by offering customized solutions under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager. Responsibilities include market research, preparing proposals, and attending industry events. Strong communication and a good understanding of the oil and gas sector are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and projects in the oil and gas industry.
Generate new business by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and providing relevant offshore lifting solutions.
Contribute to sales targets in Malaysia through proactive business development activities.
Maintain strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
Support the Regional Sales Manager during tenders by providing information to clients.
Prepare proposals in line with client requirements.
Build strong and collaborative relationships with the Head office in The Netherlands.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business.
4+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, ideally upstream.
3+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales positions.
