Responsibilities:
Research and identify new leads and potential new markets.
Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
Develop quotes and proposals.
Negotiate and renegotiate by phone, email, and in person.
Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities.
Respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
Answer potential client questions and follow-up call questions.
Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients.
Maintain short- and long-term business development plans.
Understand client needs and offer solutions and support.
Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin (speaking is a MUST as would need to deal with Mandarin speaking clients).
Required basic software skills: MS Office.
Solar Engineering Project/Business Development Experience is a PLUS.
Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn.
Capable of performing in a high-paced environment.
Must possess own car.
Minimum Junior Executives specializing in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent sales person with excellent sales track record and experience will be seriously considered.
Candidate will be based in Penang branch office.
At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
