Overview : Seeking a highly skilled Business Process Analyst with expertise in accounting practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a comprehensive understanding of business processes within a professional firm, and a proven track record of implementing process improvements and maintaining ISO standards.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with departmental heads and teams to understand their business processes, challenges, and requirements.
Identify process improvement initiatives, operational bottlenecks, and implement streamlined processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Document current processes, workflows, and procedures to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for business process optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and implementation of the improvement processes.
Review, develop, and maintain comprehensive documentation, including policies, procedures, guidelines, and flowcharts.
Ensure all process improvements align with the company's strategic objectives and values.
Utilize data analysis techniques to monitor process performance and identify areas for further improvement.
Plan and execute risk-based internal audits based on the approved audit plan.
Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and participate in ISO audits.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) preferred.
Proven experience (minimum 2 years) working in a business process improvement or internal audit role within an accounting firm or related industry.
Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, and experience implementing ISO-compliant processes.
Good analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and advanced Excel skills is preferred.
Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with people at all levels in the organization.
