The company has three manufacturing sites and research and development offices in Penang, producing automotive electronics, power tools and steering systems, and soon a fourth plant with a final testing centre for sensors and semiconductors. PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group's newest expansion in Malaysia, a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and the first series of production is set to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch's Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics' fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Responsibilities:Coordination of ramp down production in the semiconductor production network
Participation in cross-business regular meetings to coordinate all relevant topics regarding the production ramp down
First point of contact for all external suppliers and foundry partners as well as internal customers
Operational control of building up quantities for all final stockpiling products in coordination with logistics and production control department
Reconciliation of a prioritization for the build-up of all affected types with various stakeholders
Provision of final stockpiling quantities for the mid- and long-term planning
Enhancement of an IT tool to create transparency on final stockpiling quantities
Analyze the cost-effectiveness of discontinued products/terminations
Further tasks and independent projects will be assigned on demand
Minimum Requirements:Minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, logistics or a comparable qualification
Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in the semiconductor industry
Experience in the IPN (international production network) planning process of semiconductor products
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) within interdisciplinary project teams and stakeholders
High team spirit and ability to moderate meetings/workshops with all levels
Affinity for numbers and data
Structured and independent working style with minimal supervision
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Reliability and flexibility to work in a pioneer team
Fluent in English (written and spoken), German skills are a plus
