Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:
Conduct an in-depth study on complex business challenges and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency and process effectiveness. (Scoping exercise).
Provide consultation and technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and processes to address users' operational needs.
Identify necessary system improvements and supervise their implementation to meet operational requirements.
Research, design, and test new systems and system enhancements in line with site business/customer's requirements.
For the Finance module – design processes that will comply with Corporate Finance standards.
Coordinate projects of varying complexity, from design, development to production.
Train key users on the ERP systems, with a specific focus on the Finance module and its related subsystems.
Engage with users to diagnose and resolve daily system issues, ensuring smooth operations throughout the project lifecycle.
Set up systems and master data for go-live cutover and migration.
While the primary focus is on ERP systems, you may also need to acquire knowledge and be involved in the implementation of other integrated sub-systems, such as:
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) - Red Prairie, Atlas
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) - Agile
Data Extraction and Migration tools, e.g., Informatica, SQL Query
Packing and Shipping subsystems - Packman
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and other data feeds.
Engage in global initiatives related to implementation projects, which may necessitate attending meetings outside of regular office hours.
Depending on the project size and resource availability, you may occasionally take on the role of End-to-End (E2E) or Project Lead / Manager.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
A graduate with a diploma / degree / professional course (eg, ACCA, CIMA, LCCI) in Finance is preferred.
Typically requires 3-4 years of related experience in the field.
Functional knowledge of ERP systems is essential with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in accounting systems or relevant work experience.
Possess a good understanding of operational processes, demonstrating advanced skills in functionality, technical expertise, communication, people management, and documentation.
Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese is preferred, but not mandatory.
Reasonable command in Microsoft Office especially in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel, which may involve up to two weeks per month on a regular basis.
