Job DescriptionBuyer 2
Analyze, plan & purchase electronics components to support production needs according to Customer's requirement.
Ensure timely executions of MRP activities, track purchase price variance.
Assurance of supply for Production build.
Ensure timely management on disposition of defective material.
Maintain purchasing parameters: lead-time, cancellation window, reschedule window, MOQ, etc.
Manage inventory, excess and obsolescence to minimize Company's risk.
Manage overall relationship and performance of Suppliers.
Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Willing to work long hours, handle stress, and adapt to frequent changes in various schedules.
QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in equivalent related field.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing/procurement field.
Good communication, proactive problem solving, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Applications such as Excel; knowledge of MRP, ORACLE system will be an advantage.
