Resourceful and supplier contacts for Plastic Material, Frame, Sheet Metal, Cable Assembly, Electrical, Mechanical. Responsible for material planning, inbound logistics, sourcing and development and Purchasing/SCM activity. Implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective. Managing daily supply chain activities. Managing supplier relations and negotiating with local and international suppliers on price, quantity, quality, and trading terms to meet the Company's objective. New vendors development and sourcing activity. To monitor suppliers' delivery performance (OTD, Open POs) and manage Quality Performance (QPPM, NCR).Coordinating with Warehouse and User Department to determine and manage inventory needs prior to purchase. Collaborate with Planning and Production Control, Quality, Sales and Production teams to meet Co. Sales Target. Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications. Preparing cost estimates, do cost analysis and managing budgets. Working together with Purchasing (SCM) team to improve the overall supply chain systems and processes. Leadership skill and people management skill are required. To perform any ad-hoc task assigned by the HOD or Top Management. Able to work over-time whenever there is a job demand or urgent task is assigned. Manage new Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and Supplier Evaluation process Job Requirements; Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in in any disciplinary or equivalent Minimum 3 year's and above working experience in the related field. Preferable to have working experience in Contract Manufacturing or Semiconductor Industry. Preferable to have working experience in Contract Manufacturing or Semiconductor Industry. Experience in ERP system and environment. Candidate with SAP/ Epicor experience will be an added advantage Good communication skills and proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (preferable but not mandatory) Proactive problem solving, follow up and strong negotiation skills. Leadership skill and people management skill are required. Able to multi ask and high ability to work under pressure. Able to work over-time when job required.
