Responsibilities
Supplier management and purchasing related works, including running MRP, submitting purchasing requests in time, releasing orders to vendors, following confirmed shipping dates from vendors, material receiving, payment, etc.
Be responsible for suppliers' on-time delivery to keep the production line running.
Control all BOMs to meet FKR (full kitting rate) and ATP (available to promise).
Address and resolve situations such as shortages, allocation issues, bad balances, and discrepancies.
Responsible for data summarization and establishing the supply database for material purchasing.
Analyze and propose short-term and long-term purchasing strategies to avoid shortages and excess.
Collect information on material groups and suppliers, conduct analysis, set up material group supply strategies based on given targets and requirements, and implement the strategy.
Conduct market supply analysis for the responsible material group: supplier benchmarking, supply risk scouting, etc.
Be responsible for material inventory control, analyze excess and obsolete inventory, and output E&O reports to project managers or end customers monthly to reduce inventory.
Manage electronics components: ICs, PCBs, capacitors, resistors, and others.
Understand suppliers, their capabilities, market trends, and technologies.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by a superior.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Science and Engineering.
2+ years of experience in electronic components purchasing in the EMS industry.
Familiarity with SAP/Oracle, ERP, and MRP systems.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong initiative in work and good communication and coordination abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
