WorldFish is seeking talented and experienced videographers and photographers to develop a video documentary and coffee table book for the project titled "Taking Nutrition-Sensitive Carp-SIS Polyculture Technology to Scale" in India.
Project Overview
WorldFish is implementing a project in the Indian states of Odisha and Assam named "Taking nutrition-sensitive carp-SIS polyculture technology to scale". This project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) commissioned by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
A key goal of the project is to develop easily scalable methodologies for the mass seed production of some important SIS through the standardization of a hatchery-based breeding approach.
Below are the 4 project objectives:
Assess factors influencing the adoption of carp-SIS polyculture technology by previous projects.
Develop protocols for the mass production and transport of seed of up to five nutrient-rich SIS.
Validate business models for the breeding and distribution of SIS species in partnership with private seed supply enterprises.
Technical training and outreach to ensure integration into public and private investments for further scaling.
It is proposed to have a video documentary and coffee table book of the "Hatchery-based mass seed production protocol of small indigenous fish species to scale nutrition-sensitive aquaculture" by hiring a professional agency by WorldFish. The output will be used for sharing about these interventions at multiple state, national, and international fora and for advocacy purposes.
Scope of Work
The primary scope of the endeavor is to develop an audio-visual documentary and coffee table book highlighting the project "Taking Nutrition-Sensitive Carp-SIS Polyculture Technology to Scale" and to showcase the hatchery-based mass seed production protocols of small indigenous fish species.
The objectives of work entail:
Producing a succinct promotional video in multiple languages, highlighting the hatchery-based mass seed production protocols of small indigenous fish species and elucidating the successful business model.
Crafting informative short training videos, in multiple languages, that delve into the specific protocols devised for the mass seed production of selected small indigenous fish species.
Curating a visually engaging photo-documentary, presented in the format of a Coffee Table Book, which vividly captures the intricacies of mass seed production for chosen small indigenous fish species, while emphasizing its role in advancing nutrition-sensitive aquaculture on a larger scale.
