What role you will play in our teamYou will be an integral part of our engineering team providing technical insights and support to ExxonMobil's manufacturing facilities globally, encompassing refineries and chemical plants. Placements are available in Manufacturing Process Engineering, Application Engineering, Process Control, Model Performance Analytics subject to business needs.
Position is based in Kuala Lumpur.
What you will doManufacturing Process EngineerAs an extended member of the site technical team, you will provide high frequency and long term process unit monitoring and analysis for ExxonMobil's global manufacturing facilities.
Utilize advanced analytical tools to provide technical insights, recommendations, and drive optimization opportunities.
Perform high level business stewardship activities including energy utilization, material balance, and unit improvement opportunity analysis.Manufacturing Application / Process Control EngineerDevelop and implement basic regulatory and advanced control applications.
Improve abnormal event detection capability and alarm management.
Provide technical support to refineries, chemical plants, and upstream facilities on base advanced control applications.Model Performance Analytics EngineerDevelops, deploys, and sustain tools used for PIMS model validation globally.
Performs validation analysis of PIMS sub-model health together with manufacturing site technical team.
Utilize techniques and tools to produce fit for purpose high quality models.Environmental EngineerProvide support to a diverse set of assets and projects globally.
Focus on air emissions equipment control technology surveillance, estimation and reporting of GHG and other air pollutants emissions.
Water treatment and reuse engineering support and waste water and solids management engineering support for complex treatment facilities.Safety Relief EngineerSupport relief systems analysis including Safety Relief Reviews (SRRs), flare studies, sustainment and change management activities including creep evaluations for process units at manufacturing sites and operating assets.
Supports capital project development deliverables with regard to relief systems design and analysis.
Collaborates with teams from other disciplines and contractors in projects pursuits.About youSkills and Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Excellent academic track record.
Less than 3 years of relevant work experience encouraged to apply.
