Cardiovascular Technologist (Electrophysiology)IJN was established on 1st August 1992 as a heart specialist institution committed to delivering advanced standards in cardiovascular and thoracic medicine for adult and paediatric heart patients. Since the foundation of the institute, IJN has treated over a million patients and gained recognition as one of the leading Cardiovascular and Thoracic Health Centre in the region.
Today, IJN provides a full range of cardiac services. The institute is staffed by an experienced and committed team of specialist cardiologists, surgeons, anaesthesiologists, paramedics, and clinical support staff, fully supported by modern technology.
Responsibilities:
Assist and perform invasive & non-invasive procedures related to EP procedures including conventional EP/RFA and 3D mapping for complex cases.
Support device implantation for adults and pediatric cases.
Participate in quality assurance to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
Participate in institutional orientation & attend all educational activities related to the training program.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Possess a Diploma in Medical Assistant / Diploma or Bachelor in Nursing / Bachelor in Biomedical Science.
Graduate Certificate in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Sciences (Cardiovascular Technologist) / Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent (preferable).
Additional Qualifications / Skills:
Experience in a Cardiac Rhythm Management environment.
Excellent English written and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and independently.
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Able to work odd hours and be on call.
